At approximately 3:30 a.m. that day, the Deputy was patrolling Shawnee Trail in Lake Worth when something caught their attention. A car parked in the driveway of a residence had one of its doors left ajar, raising immediate concerns. Curiosity piqued, the Deputy decided to investigate further.
Approaching the vehicle, the Deputy noticed an unconscious man slumped over in the passenger seat. It was clear that something was terribly wrong. Without hesitation, the Deputy swiftly called for backup and contacted emergency medical services (EMS) for immediate assistance.
Recognizing the urgency of the situation, the Deputy didn't stop there. Further examination of the scene revealed a plastic bag containing a white powdery substance on the man's lap.
