Bexar County Sheriff's Office has arrested Nathan James Cruz (17), teenage cousin to the Salvador Ramos who carried out a deadly 2022 shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas. Cruz was attempting to buy an AR-15 with the intent to follow in his cousin's footsteps.
He is in Bexar County jail with $160,000 in bonds for charges of threatening to commit an act of violence to cause serious bodily injury and making a terroristic threat in a public place causing fear of serious bodily injury.
Cruz's mother was the one to inform authorities of the threats.
