In an incident that unfolded on Friday, October 20, 2023, at approximately 11:00 am, the Plano Police Department Detective was alerted to suspicious activity at a retail business. Upon their arrival, officers witnessed individuals attempting to conceal items and then fleeing the scene in a vehicle. Subsequently, the officers tried to initiate a traffic stop, but the suspects failed to comply, leading to a crash in the 5400 block of W Park Blvd.
Following the crash, a brief foot pursuit ensued, which concluded with all three suspects being apprehended without further incident. The suspects, all hailing from Dallas, were discovered to be in possession of a significant quantity of stolen items. The Plano Police Department has expressed its appreciation for the exemplary efforts of its officers in capturing these individuals and recovering the stolen merchandise.
