The Mansfield Police Department is reaching out to the community for assistance in identifying individuals involved in an incident that took place during a large gathering on October 14.
In the early hours of Sunday, October 14, officers responded to reports of a potential altercation brewing at a residence located in the 100 block of Misty Mesa Trail near Roberta Tipps Elementary School. As officers arrived on the scene, they observed multiple people leaving the residence. Shortly thereafter, gunshots were reported in the vicinity of the house party, leading to a dispersal of the attendees in various directions.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported in connection with the incident. However, two vehicles sustained damage during the chaotic events that unfolded that evening.
The Mansfield Police Department has been actively working on the case and is actively searching for surveillance footage in the area that could provide valuable information to aid in the investigation. They are seeking assistance from the public to help identify individuals who may have been involved.
