In the early hours of November 25, 2023, Mansfield Police Night Shift Officers displayed commendable efforts when responding to a burglary in progress at a Pawn Shop located in the 2000 block of FM 157 around 4:00 a.m. The quick response led to the apprehension of one suspect, while a brief foot pursuit resulted in the capture of another individual.
The man was charged with burglary of a building, theft of property valued between $100 and $750, and evading arrest detention. A bond of $3,000 has been set in relation to these charges. The second suspect, also charged with evading, was revealed to be a juvenile.
