On Sunday, November 26, 2023, Prosper Police and Fire/EMS, in conjunction with Frisco Fire/EMS, responded to a disturbance and stabbing at the RaceTrac gas station located at 4870 W. University Drive (US 380 and Gee Road).
Preliminary investigations by Prosper PD revealed that the incident originated as a road rage altercation between two drivers. The confrontation escalated when both drivers halted at the RaceTrac station, involving a total of three individuals in a physical altercation. When law enforcement arrived and secured the scene, all three individuals were found with lacerations and other knife wounds.
The three injured parties were transported to local hospitals, where they are reported to be in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
After further investigation, authorities determined that two of the individuals were the primary aggressors in the altercation. Following their release from the hospital, both were arrested and booked into the Denton County jail. The pair now faces charges of Assault Causing Bodily Injury.
