Late October, officers responded to a shooting incident with injuries on Kestrel Ave in the Northern part of the city. Upon arrival, officers provided immediate medical assistance, and the victim was subsequently transported to the hospital by paramedics. The victim is expected to make a full recovery.
Detectives, who are investigating the case, believe the incident was a random event with no apparent connection between the victim and the assailant. Currently, they are actively searching for the individual responsible for the shooting and are seeking assistance from the public in identifying the suspect.
The subject is described as a Hispanic male in his mid-30s. The last known direction of the subject was toward a neighborhood near Omar Street and Polk Street.
