The Temple Police Department is actively investigating a robbery incident that occurred on Monday, November 27, in the 6600 block of South 5th Street, resulting in one reported injury.
At approximately 10:07 p.m., officers responded to reports of a robbery at the location. Upon arrival, they discovered a male victim with injuries to the back of his head. The injured individual was transported to the hospital for medical attention.
According to police reports, the suspect, described as a Black male, was wearing a gray hoodie, black pants, black shoes, and had his face concealed with a black ski mask during the incident. The suspect absconded with stolen money and cigarettes.
Law enforcement authorities are actively searching for the suspect, who is believed to have fled the scene in a small, white, 4-door car.
