The Temple Police Department is currently investigating a robbery that occurred on Saturday, December 2, in the 1600 block of South 31st Street. The incident was reported at approximately 11:29 a.m.
Upon receiving the dispatch, officers responded to the scene. According to initial reports, the suspect claimed to be in possession of a gun, although the weapon was not displayed during the course of the robbery. The individual is believed to have taken $500 before making a quick escape from the location.
As of now, no injuries resulting from the incident have been reported. Authorities are actively searching for a Black male who was seen fleeing the scene on a bicycle.
