Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim with a gunshot wound. Identified as Mohamadou Thera, a 43-year-old resident of Sherman, TX, he was transported by Plano Fire-Rescue to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
In the wake of the incident, the Plano Police Department took action. On Thursday, December 7, 2023, approximately at 1:00 p.m., authorities arrested Jaheim Kemp, a 21-year-old resident of Plano, TX. Murder charges against Kemp are currently pending as the investigation unfolds.
