Killeen Police Investigators, working in collaboration with the Traffic Unit, have charged and arrested a 24-year-old male, Jarian Webster Isby, with Intoxication Manslaughter. The charges stem from an incident on April 7, 2023, when officers responded to a multiple-vehicle crash resulting in several injuries and one fatality.
Following an investigation, the case was presented to the Bell County District Attorney’s Office on November 9, 2023. A complaint was subsequently returned, charging Isby with Intoxication Manslaughter with a Vehicle. Justice of the Peace Nicola James issued a warrant for his arrest.
It was discovered that Isby had left the state and was believed to be in Illinois. On December 19, at 8:50 a.m., the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force Illinois Division located and arrested Isby. He is currently awaiting extradition to Bell County.
The Killeen Police Department expresses gratitude to the U.S. Marshals Service-Lone Star Fugitive Task Force Waco Division for their assistance in apprehending Isby.
