Luis Gonzalez, Irving ISD’s PreK-12 Gifted/Advanced Academics Coordinator, emphasized the district's long-standing commitment to educational equity. “For over a decade, Irving ISD has paved the way in creating educational equity by being able to provide access to college-level coursework for our diverse student population through participation in Advanced Placement courses,” said Gonzalez. “We are incredibly proud of our students’ dedication and commitment to being college- and career-ready, so we felt it was imperative to celebrate our AP Scholars with a special night, and set the tone for the new school year. We hope that this event motivates all of our students to challenge themselves, work hard and dream big.”
